Elisa Ferrell graduated from Scripps College in Claremont, CA and went on to work in the insurance industry as an investigator in fraud, malpractice and litigated cases. She has worked as a minister for adult education at Willowbrook Baptist Church since 2007 and does freelance work for The Community Foundation of Huntsville Madison County.
Ferrell has been a part of several community organizations, including the Huntsville Council of PTAs, the Alabama State PTA, the South Hub for Serving the City as One, the Grissom High PTA, the Huntsville City Schools Policy Committee and the Milton Frank Concessions Renovation Committee. She has also served as the vice president of legislation and programs at Mountain Gap, served as special education room mom at Farley and was awarded the National Legislative Advocacy Award. Ferrell is married and has five children.
